Moon Melt aims to promote the idea of slowing down, by bringing individuals back in the moment, through the appreciation of simple acts such as lighting a candle. We strongly believe that this sacred, ritual is essential in bringing peace and calmness into your space; helping you wind down and embrace the art of slow living.
Operated from the estate of the founder, all candles are lovingly hand poured in the founder’s kitchen in small batches. Using upcycled glass bottles cut & sanded by hand, each candle is unique with its own imperfections. Our scented candles are Vegan & Cruelty Free and Sustainable – using soy wax and a combination of the purest Essential oils and premium Fragrance oils safe to use.
Our Candles do not contain paraben, phthalates, lead, zinc or synthetic dyes.

Due to their ability to set the desired mood, we light them whilst meditating, whilst journaling, whilst daydreaming, alongside breathwork and finally as a way to regain our sense of self, connecting to our inner voice and letting the light guide us to our inner home. Because of all the above, we deem that Moon Melt has the power to transform and enlighten your spiritual world and is essential to everyday living. THE BRAND
THE NAME DERIVES FROM OUR LOVE AND FASCINATION WITH THE UNIVERSE AND ALL THE MYSTICAL ELEMENTS THAT FORM ITS EXISTENCE. THE MOON BEING ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ELEMENTS OF OUR SOLAR SYSTEM, IS CONSIDERED TO BE ONE OF THE OLDEST WAYS OF MEASURING THE PASSING OF TIME AS WELL AS SETTING THE ATMOSPHERE.
Just like the moon changes by expanding and condensing, a candle melts when lit and solidifies once it cools. This ritual has the power to rejuvenate and bring a feeling of a wholesomeness act, that nourishes the soul. Just like the magic essence experienced when under a full moon, Moon Melt has the ability to beguile you and bewitch you.
THE STORY
Moon Melt is a quarantine baby, it was an idea born in 2020, during the first lockdown.
Being stuck at home with all works suspended, I was looking for something to help me deal with the anxiety and stress over the pandemic. Being creative by nature, I wanted to create something. One night, as I was relaxing with lit candles and my crystals, watching Netflix, I had the aha moment (just as Oprah described it). I decided to create something that would merge my fascination with spirituality and the universe, along with slowing down and being present.
